Fully modernised and converted croft cottage with wi-fi access

A fully modernised, luxury croft cottage, the self-catering house adjoins Caisteal Liath Guest House. Although not inspected by the Scottish Tourist Board, we have fitted out and equipped this self-catering cottage to the same standard as the chalets.

The cottage is completely self-contained, fully double glazed and has electric heating throughout for use during May, June, July, August & September. Oil fired heating is in use during the winter months, October - April as well as the panel heaters. Outside there is a patio area with table and chairs, plus a parking area at the side of the house which is shared with the guest house and the proprietor's home.

Downstairs, the separate lounge is complemented with a reclining leather suite, 28" widescreen colour television - 120 t.v. and music channels with SKY, dvd player, video recorder and hi-fi. The large picture window in the lounge provides stunning views across Lochinver Bay towards the harbour and the mountains of Canisp, Suilven, Cul Mhor and Stac Pollaidh.

The kitchen too has panoramic views across the bay and is fully fitted with oak units and a low level breakfast bar table to dine at. Appliances include an electric double oven and grill, four ring ceramic hob, full size dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and coffee maker, ample pans, crockery, cutlery and utensils and all cleaning materials are provided.

Downstairs fully tiled shower-room with an instant heat shower, w.c. and wash hand basin. There is an electic shaver point, heated towel rail and additional heater.

Upstairs the bathroom has a Jacuzzi whirlpool bath, w.c., wash hand basin and an electric shaver point.

The two bedrooms are also located upstairs and both have stunning views looking out over the bay of Lochinver towards the mountains of Canisp, Suilven, Cul Mhor & Stac Pollaidh.

One bedroom has a king size bed and the other has a double bed sleeping up to 4 persons. Each bed has an under blanket, duvet and two pillows/person and all beds are made up for your arrival. They are also furnished with bedside cabinets with reading lamps, chest of drawers and a gents wardrobe.

We also have free wi-fi access for wi-fi enabled laptops.
