The Strathan Chalet is an ideal base for a romantic holiday or for a truly relaxing break in this peaceful setting of the Scottish north-west Highlands.

This single bedroom luxury chalet stands on a hill overlooking Lochinver Bay with the majestic mountains of Canisp, Suilven, Cul Mhor & Stac Pollaidh looming in the background. It has private parking at the foot of the chalet and is reached by a path which leads up from the car park to the chalet.

The bathroom is fitted with chrome accessories and it features a corner whirlpool spa bath, a corner power shower, wash hand basin, w.c., electric shaver point, and heated towel rail.

Many of our visitors have now commented on how much they have enjoyed coming back and having a whirlpool bath to relax in, after a hard days trek out in the hill.

The bedroom has a 5 ft King size bed, matching duvet and curtains, wardrobe, dressing table and bedside cabinets, lamps and an electric wall mounted convector heater with timer controls.

The bed has an electric blanket, and under blanket, duvet and two pillows/person and is made up for your arrival.

The open plan living room/dinning room has all the comforts of a 'home from home' with dinning table and chairs, new leather sofa and chair, coffee table, electric fire, colour television, video recorder, hi-fi and fitted carpet throughout.

Tourist information books and maps are all provided, to let you study the area from the comfort of your chalet.

The newly fitted kitchen is very well equipped with a full size dishwasher, ceramic hob cooker, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, coffee-maker, electric carving knife, ample pans, crockery and cutlery, utensils and cleaning materials are all supplied.
A large patio window opens from the kitchen onto a private balcony with patio furniture to sit out and relax upon. This overlooks the whole of the village, bay and the mountains beyond. In the entrance hall of the chalet there is also an automatic washing machine/tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.
